How it works
Three steps, one tailor
Book your visit
Choose a time that suits you. We confirm the address, quote the visit by location, and arrive with everything needed for a full consultation.
Your private consultation
Choose your cloth from the books we bring, from the house cloth to Loro Piana, Zegna, Holland & Sherry and Scabal. Around thirty measurements and three photographs, and your pattern is drawn for you alone.
Made in France, fitted by us
Your suit is cut and sewn by hand at Max's atelier in Southern Brittany, four to twelve weeks depending on the cloth. We fit it on you until it is right. Fittings are unlimited.

What to expect
An hour that is entirely yours
- Allow about an hour for one person. Wedding parties and teams are measured together in one visit.
- Wear a fitted shirt and the shoes you would wear with the suit, if you have them.
- We talk through the occasion, how you dress, and what the suit has to do for you before a single measurement is taken.
- Cloth, lining, buttons, lapels and monogram are all chosen with the books in front of you. Every suit is full canvas and priced at consultation.
- The person who measures you is the person who fits you. Your pattern is kept on file, so the next suit is faster.

Questions
Often asked
Will a tailor really come to my home or office?
Yes. Robb or Ben comes in person, with the cloth books and everything needed for a full consultation and measurements.
What does a visit cost?
It depends on where you are. We quote the visit by location when we confirm the time, before anything is booked.
Does my suit cost more if you come to me?
No. The suit is priced at consultation exactly as it would be in the shop. Only the visit is quoted separately.
Can you measure a whole wedding party at once?
Yes, and it is one of the best reasons to book a visit. Tell us your date and how many of you there are.
How long does a visit take?
About an hour for one person. We will give you an idea when we confirm the time if there are several of you.
How far ahead should I book?
Suits take four to twelve weeks depending on the cloth, so the earlier the better. We will be honest about what is possible for your date.
Where are the suits made?
By hand at Max's atelier in Southern Brittany, France, from a pattern drawn for you alone.
