Show Your True Colors in a Custom Wedding Suit for Men

What colors do you wear that tend to rack up the compliments? (If you’re not sure, your fiancé can probably tell you.)
In the meantime, learn a little more on your own about finding the best colors for you. (Your fiancé might just be impressed.)
Put Some Skin in the Game
Choosing the right palette for your bespoke wedding suit starts with your complexion. Look closely for one of three undertones in natural light:
· Cool—rosy, pink or blueish
· Warm—yellow, peachy or golden
· Neutral—both cool and warm or olive green
Not clear? Check the color of the veins on the inside of your wrists, staying in natural light.
· Blue veins suggest a cool undertone
· Green veins suggest a warm undertone
· Both blue and green veins—or neither—suggest a neutral undertone
Third time’s the charm? Put some metallic jewelry next to your skin. Which metal is more complementary?
· Silver suggests a cool undertone
· Gold suggests a warm undertone
· Both silver and gold suggests a neutral undertone
Color in Your Custom Wedding Suit
For cool undertones, these colors tend to look best:
· Navy blue
· Medium to dark gray
· Royal blue
· Burgundy
Avoid warm colors like orange or yellow that tend to clash with rather than complement cool undertones.
White shirts also tend to look better than off-white or cream, shades that can wash a cool undertone out.
For warm undertones, these colors tend to better suit:
· Olive
· Brown
· Orange
· Yellow
Avoid cool, icy blues, purples and grays that can dull your natural glow.
Generally, neutral tones can go for it. They shine in just about anything, and both white and cream shirts work.
No matter what your skin’s undertone, jewel tones tend to be flattering, and they photograph well. Jewel tones in blue, purple and green are also trending now.
If you—or your fiancé—loves a color you don’t think you look great it, you can incorporate it away from your face without fear. Pocket squares, waistcoats, jacket linings and even trousers are face-saving options.
